WHO ARE WE?

The European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) Euregio Meuse-Rhine (EMR) represents a structure whose main objective is to initiate and enhance cross-border cooperation between the institutions of its partner regions; representing the Province of Liège, the Province of Limburg and the German-speaking Community in Belgium; the Province of Limburg in the Netherlands; and the Region Aachen-Zweckverband in Germany.

OUR EXPERTISE

The EMR brings together as a kind of platform different stakeholders so to ease the exchange of information and best practices between relevant institutions across the border, initiating also common activities and joint projects. As a structure, the EGTC EMR facilitates therefore the emergence of projects and helps as reliable partner to their implementation.

WHAT DO WE DO FOR THE PROJECT?

We believe contributing through our knowledge and expertise valuable input for the successful implementation of project activities. The results of the project are going to help us promoting the Euregio Meuse-Rhine as a tourist destination as well as to enhance the feeling of belonging and the sharing of a common history among the population, and finally raise awareness about our common heritage among the political decision-takers and relevant institutional stakeholders.
