Project

Terra Mosana
We draw the past

The Euregio Meuse-Rhine (EMR) presents an area with a rich culture and a shared history despite being divided into three national entities: Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. The Euregio-project Terra Mosana aims to investigate and to present the common history of the EMR and therefore strengthen the sense of belonging to this region.

Terra Mosana is a partnership between different entities: regional governments, municipalities, heritage sites and universities. The goal is to digitize the cultural heritage of the partner cities and to reconstruct the obtained data into 3D-models and virtual and augmented reality thanks to the newest 3D-scan technology. To reach as many as many audience groups as possible, films and exhibitions will be also part of the Terra Mosana-experience with the use of digital storylines showing the shared history of the several cities in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine.
